Heads
Up Farm is truly excited about the breeding of these two colts.
At
the age of 17, Judgement ISF continues to amaze. In five
competitions at Spruce Meadows in June 2008 Judgement ISF had two first
places, one second and one third, earning nearly $128,000, including his
third consecutive win in the prestigious Nexen Cup Derby (formerly the
Shell Cup Derby). The Nexen Cup Derby at Spruce Meadows rivals some of the
world's most prestigious Derbys like those in Hickstead, England and
Hamburg Germany. With
twice the number of jumps (24, including
the grueling Devil's Dyke and the world's highest grass bank with its 26
foot vertical drop) as a traditional Grand Prix and a length of
more than a kilometer, the
Derby
is considered by many to be the decathlon of the show jumping world,
testing the endurance, speed and skill of all horse-rider. The fact
that Judgement
ISF's rider, Beezie Madden, is the only rider in the history of the event
to master the course without incurring a fault speaks volumes about the
ability and talent of this horse and rider.
Judgement
ISF is the sire of Heads Up Farm's 2008 colt Devonnis HUF and a 1/2
brother to Heads Up Farm's other 2008 colt, Dyami HUF.
In
addition to being the sire of Judgement ISF, Consul is also the sire of
the third place finisher at the 2008 Rolex CDI **** event in Kentucky.
Both
of these sires are producing winners at the upper levels of equestrian
sport.
